I almost feel bad posting this, because if I had the energy I'd be talking about something sad locally (no, not that, Zoe is still alive and doing reasonably well, & more on that some other time too), and there's all sorts of important stuff going on in the world and several people on my f-list have various degrees of tragedy/disaster/serious problems to cope with as well, but . . .
there was an omen.
Therefore, I must post the idea. Because it is late and my brain is addled and I need to sleep.
Anyway, there was a rather bizarre fanfic kerfluffle that I just caught up on tonight that prompted someone on my f-list to say they needed a new fandom.
So, being perverse, I suggested they become part of Left Behind fandom.
Being not only perverse but being *me*, I suggested they start a whole wave of Left Behind pornfic.
Then, in someone *else*'s journal, also a couple of days old, I think, I right after read in a comment thread that the LaHayes had once written a sex manual.
If that isn't an omen saying "spread the word!", then, well, I'm mistaken.
But that's how I'm taking it.
So to all who might wish to heed the call, I urge thee -- do not buy those books, because royalties to those people = baaaaad, but check them out of the library, or something, and JUST DO IT.
Just say yes! To left-behind pornfic! Since it would involve reading the books, I'm damn sure not gonna do it, but someone must (because, damn, an omen!), and better thee than me!
