| Conservative talk radio is a different world . . . |

Or, as Sasha said between peals of laughter whilst listening to Michael Savage's talk radio show, "This guy's nuts."
There were other things I wanted to post about tonight, but instead, I must write down these gems before I forget them (paraphrased, can't recall any quotes word for word, but still . . . )
The "deviants" and the "queens" at CNN were unfair to the Republican candidates by making them sit at desks for their debate, looking like "naughty little schoolboys waiting to be disciplined".
Well. Probably it's just malice that we are thinking this says some interesting things about his psyche.
Hillary Clinton and Barak Obama are "Marxists".
In over two hours, exactly ONE woman caller. Who he immediately hung up on after she began the call with "How are you doing tonight?"
Exactly ZERO non-white calls in over two hours.
"They" (not sure who "they" are, in this particular case) are "after" him, just like "they" are after all "the real men" left in America. (many, many referenes made to "big strong men" and "real men" during this show; I mean, like, a *lot*)
Media Matters are "the gay mafia".
(anyone else at this point think he's having deviant fantasies about being hunted down by queens from the gay mafia, who lash him to a desk and tell him that real men need to be displined when they act like naughty schoolboys?)
Media Matters, which I believe was created by David Brock, was apparently actually created by Hillary Clinton. And both, along with "the Clinton machine" are involved with Hamas, and terrorism. And he, Michael Savage, is going to court to prove it.
John McCain must not win the Republican nomination, because he is NOT a social conservative.
(anti-choice, anti-gay, at least in policies if not inside his head, so what does one have to do to *be* a social conservative?)
(he seems to wish Thompson had won, and wants Romney now, and hates Huckabee because Huckabee is increasing McCain's chances against Romney, if anyone wonders who he thinks is properly conservative; if this was really the issue, tho, you'd think he'd be all for "Huck-a-pony", as he calls him)
All of the Republican candidates suck, because none of them are sufficiently concerned with Islamofascism or terrorism (wait, why doesn't he like McCain again?) or with the problem of "our borders" and "illegal immigration" -- in fact, horror of horrors, McCain actually has a foreigner, a *Mexican*, on his payroll! To get the Hispanic vote! Good goddess, what is McCain thinking?
Likewise, he hates George Bush, who is also soft on the illegal immigrants (one wonders if a few months ago, this dude was campaigning for Duncan Hunter or Tancredo?)(ya'd think he be down with Ron Paul, at this point).
But the Republicans still must be voted for to stop the Marxists! Except McCain can't beat the Marxists! He will lose hugely and destroy the Republicans forever!

And as a nice corollary to this, for those of you who don't read Pandagon, both Amanda Marcotte and Hillary Clinton were recently put down by conservative types (yes, Maureen Dowd is conservative, whatever she or the NYT tries to claim) for wearing red. There's a pattern here, I swear it.

And this is why, however much I've come to loathe Obama's campaign and most of his supporters and Obama himself (honestly, trying to tar the Clintons as racist is downright KarlRovian, and I have as much disgust w/any dems who buy that as I do w/people who bought that Kerry made up his medal of honor story in 2004), I gotta vote for whoever wins the democratic nomination.
And yet another reason why any undecideds should vote Hillary. Because when she wins the Presidency? The talk radio people like this dude and his fans?
